The tiger lilies in my garden are blooming. Like the day lilies, the blooms only last one day. But there are many more blooms to come. I picked a couple of the blooms this morning and brought them inside to enjoy. I was playing around with editing software. This is what I came up with. A round lily bloom. When the temperatures are in the 90s and the humidity level is up to where it is hard to breathe outside, this is what I do. On normal days I rarely edit my photography. Just having a little fun with the flowers.

It’s a pity the blooms only last one day.
I know, many of the lilies are like that. I guess that is why there are so many buds for more blooms each day.
Editing a photo often brings its own fun. I sometimes do it too for a specific purpose.
Yes it does and it can bring a while new meaning sometimes. Amazing how a black and white or sepia photo from a color photo makes a huge difference.
Agree completely! Sometimes doing small things like cropping and exposing certain details can be very good results.
Great photograph & Edit! I do edit mine sometimes…although lately I haven’t been. It’s nice to be able to edit photos when it’s too hot to go outside and take new ones.
Thanks, I only edit every now and then. The temperatures are so hot here. 90s and above.
only sometimes. I’m an old school photographer (35mm FILM) digital photography has opened up the field for many many people so editing is a wonderful tool. great blog 🙂

I do try to edit the good ones, but honestly mostly no. The flower, as always, magnificent! You have the eye for pictures Carol!!!!

I do not mostly, i try to capture what I saw, and if it works awesome.
I edit. I change the light, and enhance colors in some. I really edit on the quizzes. lol

That’s a real fire on your photo!!! Sometimes edit my photos they’re too darkened.
