In addition to Lake Bled and Bled Island, Bled Castle is a great tourist attraction. Bled Castle is a castle on a steep cliff, which rises 139 m above the level of Lake Bled near Bled. For many centuries it was the seat of the great Gorenjska estate of the Diocese of Brixen, and is now one of the largest cultural and tourist attractions in Slovenia. The picture clearly shows the typical Bled knit – a boat that takes tourists to the island, in the background you can see the beautiful Bled castle and the still-snowy Karavanke.
