Black & White Friday – The Break

What picture can describe taking a break more than a bench? Many other pictures can. I think a cup of coffee would be awesome, but I didn’t have such a photo. The summer heat made me hibernate and nothing inspired me at home, not even coffee cups. I’m left with old stuff to recycle, so here it is.

The bench. The distorted bench.

Life is too short to aim for perfection, please bear with me.

I take a break, i.e. post something different, every three posts of “that series”. Thankfully only three posts are supposed to be left, then I should start focusing on the other topics I “promised” on this poll. Taking my time, as always, I’ve been too busy lately and videogames aren’t to blame this time.

I also have to visit your posts, I’m way too behind, gotta recover.

Temperatures have been decreasing and I might be able to see the sunlight again. Actually, I didn’t stop going out, but surely left home less often for stuff I couldn’t avoid.

  1. That bench, or one similar, is so inviting. Under a tree, or on the patio. Such bench would invite my photographer-hubby into taking a photo of it , or of me sitting on it. 🙂 I enjoyed the voice in your article. Thanks!

    • The next “chapter” is going to be about sports, it makes even more sense! ?
Yes, it’s a really nice bench, it almost feels like my bottom doesn’t deserve to sit there. ?

    • Well, I barely love summer in winter. All that heat, humidity and mosquitoes make me wish summer never comes, but the season has qualities too, especially when it comes to nature, animals and fruits, the most colorful season along with spring. ?

  2. Love this photo in black and white. It makes a statement.

And this is so relatable… “Life is too short to aim for perfection, please bear with me.”
