Yesterday I watched blackbirds in my yard and have discovered a nest in my cypress trees. One of the babies left the nest. I will talk about that experience later. There are more babies but the trees are too tall for me to see, once again, like the robins. They build too high for me to peek in the nest.
I did capture these two blackbirds, male and female sitting at the top of my cypress trees, with the nest nearby. I will be glad when they all fledge as they are very noisy birds. But glad to see they found a spot in my backyard for their babies.
Spring is definitely in full swing in my world.

Blackbirds against the sky! What a great picture Carol!
Nature is a gift, learning is a gift as well!
Thanks, I tried getting closer but they are a bit camera shy.
They have a nest in those trees.
Fantastic shot. You’ll have lots of lovely puppies.
Thank you, yes they are all over. Cardinals, doves, mockingbirds, robins, bluebirds.
Lovely to see Blackbirds. They often follow me in the garden if I am weeding
Really, they do not let me get close to them. Interesting.
A lovely capture!!
It’s glad to have them in your garden! 🙂
Thank you, I love seeing all kinds of birds everywhere.
Lovely capture! We can learn a lot from nature.
Thanks, I learn every single day.
Interesting black and white image, my friend
Thanks, these are blackbirds. I could not get closer to them.
You have to be happy and happy to be in your yard and have many babies.
I am so excited, I have never seen this many at one time. And I just saw a pair of thrashers. Probably a nest somewhere for them.
