Meeting someone at 8 am, I have to be in the meeting place by 7:30 am just to be sure that I wouldn’t be late. But the traffic consumed a lot of time. Fortunately my allowance was sufficient that I arrived 5 minutes before 8 am. That is what you call punctuality.
I have noticed that people seem to not care for the time anymore. Being punctual is getting rare that people sometimes come in late by an hour. Is that a show of superiority or arrogance? I think there ought to be a paradigm shift back to the olden times when punctuality is a virtue.

when you’re late you don’t have respect for the other person’s time. I would leave if someone is late.
When I have to meet someone I always like to be on or before time
You don’t live in Jamaica. Everyone is always late, except me. “Soon Come” is the standard.
I have always liked to be early or at least on time.
