Be active at home

I don’t know about you … but if at the beginning of this outbreak phase I felt minimally active and motivated to do some exercise … I quickly stopped feeling that enthusiasm. The routine took over the days and suddenly the days that seemed endless became completely filled and physical activity was not part of the agenda.

Search for an online class – Nowadays … it is almost impossible not to be happening a direct on Instagram of some PT teaching a class. There are even gyms that offer free online classes on their platforms. But if you still can’t find anything you like, a quick search on youtube will give you access to several classes in many different modalities!

Set a time – There are people who prefer to train at the end of the day … others prefer to dispatch the subject by tomorrow. And there are those who, accustomed to their working hours, are trained to train at lunch. Well … the wonder of it all is that you choose when you are going to do it. But the most effective way for this to happen is to be part of your day’s planning. I like to start the day calmly and that’s why I dedicate the middle of the morning to physical activity. But I never leave it until the end of the day as it is very likely that it will not happen.

Get dressed up – Yes … it is true that they can train in pajamas because no one will know. But having a whole ritual around this moment also helps to make it happen. Ready set … go!

Try Different Modalities – The truth is that they are ALL within a click! 🙂 It doesn’t hurt to realize what you know best to do now. And if complex workouts are not at all what you feel like, some stretches would be important.

Remember that physical activity improves the immune system!
