Balance – Sharing is Caring

This is my second post as participation in the challenge of Ellie – Sharing Is Caring.

Stand up straight, stretch your arms apart, then lift your left foot forward until your thighs are in a horizontal position. Keep balance. If you are more challenged, push your legs back and bow your body until your left foot and your body are straight and horizontal. Make sure your face and outlook are facing forward. Keep balance. That would be pretty easy to do because it’s a general warming up before we exercise, right?

Now close your eyes. Does your right foot start to vibrate? Do you still in balance? Do you feel you should immediately stand straight before falling?

We all know that the swing in this photo is in the balance as you are sitting or standing right now. Using the swing as a symbol, I want to say how important balance is for ourselves, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually?

I am sure that you know the components of your body’s balance control. Two of some components are visual and adaptive systems. Actually, both components are also on the whole of ourselves or are needed by the whole of our self.

That is, in addition to the physical, if our mental, emotional, social, and spirituality “can not see” then our balance will be disturbed, and if that happens we will be shaken and most likely we will fall. The more lost our ability to see, hear, and adaptability will be more difficult for us to rise and recover in balance.

O, my dear friends. let’s keep our balance thoroughly.

  1. I loved your post! Even switching the hand on which you put your watch is balance! Actually balance is life! The one that lives balance lives in peace! But to reach balance one should work a lot on himself!

  4. Great post, I am healthy to a point but have a lot to improve. Its a long journey, the personal trainer teaches me exercises to improve strength and posture and tone. A day by day thing.
