In the olden days it was ordinary to have a backyard piggery of maybe 1 pig or up to 4 pigs. Usually the pigs have their schedules like a wedding or a birthday or a baptismal party for the baby. The feed of the pigs come from the neighbors. They were leftover food like rice and other edibles that is collected by the pig owner and cooked for the pigs to eat. Can you imagine that the piglets would grow with not much expense.
Those were the good old days that we can have a backyard piggery. Now it is against the law when you are living in the city or even in the suburbs. The backyard piggery in the rural areas would need a permit from the community office.

Yeah, the government controls everything nowadays. But I was thinking of raising Angora rabbits, and then selling the fur. Maybe you could do that in your backyard.
