Are you getting enough pineapple?

Pineapple is good for you. It contains “a touch” of bromelain that help curb pain by reducing the swelling. It contains Vitamin C. (In fact, just one cup provides all the vitamin C you need for the day. The potassium in pineapple is an electrolyte, which means that it carries an electrical charge. Potassium stimulates nerve impulses and muscle contractions.  Could pineapple be the missing ingredient in your diet that will make you healthier and more comfortable?

  1. Pineapple is an ingredient in one of my favorite dinners, Japchae which is made with glass noodles (sweet potato), red peppers, mushrooms, onions, and beef. I make a beverage called Tepache which is the left-over parts of the pineapple fermented in water with brown sugar added.

  2. Pineapple is good on pizza too. Thank you for reminding us of all the health benefits to eating pineapple, or even drinking the juice.
