I take everything someone who really doesn’t know says with a few grains of salt. I tend to think too much anyway. My mind gets cluttered. Today I got a message here that says I am an enigma. I don’t find it offensive. I am just not sure how accurate I think it might be.
Let’s go to the definition. “a person or thing that is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand”. I truly think that I am simply an open book. It’s kind of what you see and hear is what you get. I don’t filter much. I wear my heart clearly on my sleeve.
Or do I?
Am I so confusing that others think I am an enigma? (I know at least one person does.)
I asked my husband because I thought that might be funny and interesting. His response did make me laugh. “I have no idea what the word really means, but if it means you ask me questions that don’t have a good answer so you can get your feelings hurts then you are an enigma.” I burst out in laughter.
