I am joining this crazy alphabet challenge with this post. I hope I understood the instructions correctly. My favorite fruit is pineapple. The Slovenian language is the ANANAS. Pineapple will satiate, strengthen and energize our bodies. Pineapple is a true treasure trove of vitamins and minerals, it contains a lot of biotin, vitamin C, vitamin B12, all E vitamins, manganese, lots of iron, as well as more than 16 different minerals and trace elements. It also contains a miracle enzyme called bromelain. The latter has many miraculous properties, it prevents blood clotting, improves blood circulation, lowers blood pressure, relieves inflammation, relaxes muscles. As you may already know, pineapple is very useful and in almost every form we can afford it in our own kitchen.

I agree. Pineapple is really very useful and delicious. We do not grow pineapples in our country. I suppose pineapple farming is too demanding.
It takes a long time to grow a pineapple in New Zealand if you get a decent pineapple. Australia grows wonderful pineapples.
We do not cultivate pineapple in our country. We import all pineapple from various countries
I love pineapple, if someone would cut it for me LOL
hahaha, it’s really a little time consuming but worth the effort
LOL Fair enough, can’t blame you. ?
Hi Sabtraversa, I haven’t seen you around fora long time. I was away too for sometime… maybe that is why
I’ve been missing in action for at least a month, so I guess it was the both of us. Been slowly getting “back on track”. ?
Pineapples grow in Hawaii; so the answer is yes it grows in the United States. Thank you for the information about pineapples.
Thank you, Linda. I envy you a little, pineapple is failing in our country.

I also have to buy it at the supermarket
But the price is not too high, dear Vidocka
I have to find the right supermarket and the price is good
You love pineapple, dear Vida?
Yes we call it ananas
Amazingly, you also use the same name
We call it nanas in Malay.
I can’t believe it. Already a third country which uses the same name as us
What is your language?
I am from Slovenia. My language is Slovenian
We grow a lot of pineapple in Hawaii here. I love it. I always get one when they come in ripe.
You’re in luck. I would raise him, but unfortunately that’s not the case
In India and Russia, it is also known as ananas 🙂
This is unbelievable. Another country that uses the same name for pineapple
pineapple is one of my favorites as well! It grows in Hawaii so yes in the US.
I’d rather have it in my garden ?
that would be wonderful. My dad tried in his greenhouse, but we never really got the great flavor. Volcanic soil is part of the Hawaii charm!
Even here in India it is called Ananas!!!
Woow, what a coincidence. I can’t believe we have the same word
Most languages are derived from Sanskrit and so I am not surprised.
Thanks for the explanation. I didn’t know that.
Also in Italian, still wondering why it is still pineapple in English while most of the world calls it ananas. At least they got banana right. ?
