For the Alibb’s Alphabet Crazy Challenge, I contributing the largest terrestrial animal. We certainly all know the great elephant. He is not only big and powerful. The elephant is also the friendliest animal among us. She lives a quiet life in a family community, and we know elephant loners. There are very few of these wonderful giants on Earth today. They are endangered by black ivory hunters and collectors. Every year, a huge number of these large, peaceful, friendly and loving giants die under illicit shots because of their tusks. An elephant, a very calm, loving and sensible animal, has always been in contact with humans. The man used it for battles, work and board games and parades. Today he has lost his job in the military, but most of all in Asian countries it is used for work, cargo transfer, for playing the famous elephant pole, we see him in parades, circuses, playing with children.

Always enjoy watching BBC films about wild nature with elephants. It was very interesting to know about floating elephants of the Andaman Islands. When food (or potential pairs) is scarce, Andaman elephants head to the sea and swim to other Islands.
I also watch a lot of documentaries but I didn’t see those shows. This is very interesting.
when I lived in Thailand they used to talk about White Elephants. They, white elephants, were always the property of the king. I got to see one in the Dusit zoo and it was amazing.
Wooow, you are lucky to see a white elephant. I haven’t seen him yet.
They are extremely rare, in my entire life (including many trips to Thailand and Malaysia) I have seen a white elephant twice.
I was trying to think of something beginning with “E” but something will turn up soon for the alphabet challenge.
I love the photo of the Elephant. They are lovely animals.
I had trouble figuring out what starts with the letter E, it’s so easy. Our memory sometimes blocks us a little. ?
I love to see them in the wild. we have plenty around.
You are lucky to see them abroad. This is not possible with us.
I always enjoy seeing the elephants at the zoo especially if there is a little elephant among them.
The elephants are really friendly so I visit them several times at the zoo.
Here in India many temples care for them. But sadly some are starved to death.
This is a sad story. But at least a few save them from hunger.
The elephant is a majestic animal. I was in Bangkok the other week and there were the live elephants.
Thank you. I only see them at the zoo
The elephant is a truly magnificent animal, dear Vidocka … I’ve seen it before at the zoo
Thank you, Lado. Also, I only see them at the zoo
We will visit the zoo together once and make some pictures for Virily, dear Vidocka
No problem. Tell us when you plan your visit ?
It is a great pleasure …. it is always pleasant with you in society, dear Vidocka
I love these beautiful and smart animals.
I see them every year when I take my grandchildren to the zoo.
And on Tv shows of course.
Also, I only see them at the zoo and on television. I rarely visit the zoo.
Many years ago we had elephants in our zoo and the kids and I were able to ride them.
It must have been a wonderful event. We only have one zoo in our country.
Elephants are a favorite of mine. There is actually a sanctuary closeby consisting mostly of the retired circus elephants. Heartwarming to know they are being take care of.
that really is good news
Thank you, Alex. At least one good news ?
yeah, we could use more good news and less bad news
I agree, Carol. At least some care about animals
Wonderful coverage click! Keep up the great work…
Thank you so much for your encouraging comment.
Love the photo for this challenge.
