The Clitoria Ternatea is a common flower. It is also called the butterfly pea vine and it comes in four colors. Blue and white are common while purple and pink are not so common. It often has a single huge petal and some tiny ones in the center.
This is a hybridized version of the flower. It is elegant and it often gets entangled as it is a vine. I grow it like a shrub , as it takes well to pruning and remains in one place. I have been working on hybridizing this one with the single petal pink flower but I haven’t got the results I want. I hope I will one day make a pink elegant looking flower like this one.

I cannot remember the name of that flower much more when you mentioned the scientific name huh.
Haha.. so that made you forget the name. It happens all the time to me.
What a beautiful color on these blooms.
Actually the purple seem duller in the photo.
I think all of them are beautiful in their own ways!!
Love the different shade of purple on them
I agree with you all flowers have their own kind of beauty.
