Gerberas are one of my favorite cut flowers. They come in the brightest loveliest colors. This one used to bloom so profusely in my garden and then rotted away when it was raining incessantly.
They come in almost every color possible and in double shades too. We propagate the plant by division. Growing them from seeds could take years.
A few blooms are enough to bring brightness and cheer to any room. It’s definitely one of my favorite flowers.

Thank you Witty feeds for taking a look.
These are really nice plants. I love them.
They are indeed beautiful plants.
This looks like a ray of sunshine! Beautiful.
That is a lovely description Carol, thank you.
This is a great picture of a gerbara, dear friend
Thank you dear Lado for you support and encouragement.
You can always count on me, dear Dawn
This is a lovely Gerbera and colour
I love this color too , in the garden it just lifts up the place.
I have gerberas in my garden but they do not have so many folds of petals as you have. Also they have the tendency to bend.
You mean the petals bend or the stalk bends? I didn’t get that. All my Gerberas are like this.
The stem bends and they need support.
Only rarely do I have the stems bending down, especially when it rains, otherwise they are sprightly.
