I can say that today I like to watch his films.It doesn’t matter that I have watched them repeatedly.His films: Psycho.The 39 Steps, Vertigo, Birds, Rear Window , Rebecca are one of the masterpieces of film art.I recommend to younger colleagues to look at the work of the best films by Alfred Hitchcock as they will become acquainted with the greatness of film making.Initially, he was making in the country he was born in, Great Britain. He was given the title Sir.From 1939 he began recording in the United States.
Rebecca was the first film to make a Hollywood production and in 1940 won 2 Oscars for that film.His genre was thrillers, we were a little scared as we watched them.He made about 50 films.

I used to live very close to Bodega Bay where the movie “The Birds” was filmed. Sometimes there would be a lot of crows in the trees. A lot! And, it would make me a little bit nervous.
Rear Window is a gorgeous film to see in the theatre.

Years ago some of the movies were restored and new prints were released. Rear Window was one that I saw. Gorgeous film!

I love all the Hitchcock with the exception of “Frenzy” and I love the old TV show.

Excuse the typo. Meant to type “Hitchcock movies”. At any rate, I didn’t like “Frenzy” because at the beginning of the movie I already knew who the killer was. There was no mystery at all. That was so contrary to Hitchcock’s style. It was a good movie but I was disappointed because the fun of solving the mystery was taken away.
Absolutely loved Hitchcock movies. What an excellent and talented man he was.

The scene of Tippy Hedrin running from the birds is one of the most terrifying scenes he ever did (for me)!
