When checking image folders on my computer, I saw a folder containing silhouette images and did not remember for what day the weekly challenge was carried out. Only after doing a search did I know that it was set for Saturday.
Apparently, I haven’t seen a post for this challenge for a long time, and according to search results, I’m the last person to post for that challenge. So, to post this silhouette image, and at the same time warm up this weekly challenge, I post the atmosphere after the sun around the house sometime after sunset.

As many friends have said here, no one really needs to be fixated on any day for any weekly challenge. We can post every weekly challenge on any day. That’s just a classification of themes. But it doesn’t matter if you don’t want to participate too. That’s a choice, dear friend.
You can post anything that’s fun here. After all, there are also many friends who don’t join the challenge, and that doesn’t matter at all.

You are right! Kim is the biggest challenger in Virily! To be honest, it’s an idea that facilitates productivity for many users here.
Here is the list. Macro Monday, Nature Tuesday, Wacky Wednesday, Thursday’s Reflections, Friday in Black and White, Silhouette Saturday and Sky Sunday.
Another weekly challenge; Wednesday Shadows and Saturday Critters.

I started this one. In Tsu there were several daily challenges you could post to. Ileana started posting here for them when she joined. There were missing days, so I took the ones that I thought were the most fun and made a challenge here. It is on going, and as far as daily challenges go and the waiting to get approved, you can post on any day for any of the daily challenges. So its Sunday and you want to post for saturday. Do it. It really doesn’t matter, they get seen no matter what day.
I did not realize you started this challenge. I also told lado to post any day for the challenges. Glad you told him as well.

It was a long time ago Carol, no worries. Did you see the two I had forgotten that Albert mentioned. Saturday was originally for shadows as well as silhouettes since those are not as common.. And how could I forget the critters, oh my gosh. Saturday’s Critters!
I am happy that the mystery has been revealed, Kim. Also, your statement that anyone can contribute to this challenge at any time. This is a great encouragement for other friends who feel doubtful.
I thought I would oblige since you did ask. 😉 And yes, post for any day at any time, its just for fun.
Hopefully, this explanation can be understood by all friends who want to contribute but feel constrained.

haha .. no not modest.. but honest … i always take pictures of whatever thinking i might use them in any article… so far… not so good but still soooooooooo far from good. haha

I’m sure you can write about Maria Victoria in the snow mountains, for example, which is as beautiful as the Cinderella story.

I think I’ve published this challenge a long time ago. Now I’m sure you have a lot of pictures in the archive that you can use for other challenges as well.
I have a special folder for Virily, whether it’s already or not it has been shared. I will store pictures, old or new, into these folders according to the theme. This will make it easier for me to choose images that fit the weekly challenge. After the image is shared I will move the image to the “sent” archive.

You could still post, doesn’t matter when it is published, it could still count towards the challenge. So sorry you are still having to wait way too long for approval.

Maybe you can post it on Thursday so it’s possible they will publish it on the appropriate day. After all, it doesn’t seem like a problem if the post appears on a different day…

I have experienced the same thing before, dear friend. Initially the incompatibility between the theme of the post and the day when the post was published was annoying and awkward, finally, I didn’t care anymore. It’s one of the reasons I have completed 365 Days Photos Challenge more than the real time. Hope you’ll become verified user as well immediately.

Every day I do a search to find out the challenges for the day in question, but I did not find this challenge has new posts again from the search results. Only when I searched for a “silhouette” did I know that it was for Saturday.
Hmmm… it looks like even Ileana doesn’t post silhouette images anymore…
