I have one crimson colored Crepe Myrtle tree in my garden. Each year I trim it back, just the top and a little on the side. It comes back bigger each year. It now reaches the roof of the house. I decided to add more to the yard. I love the bright crimson red color so much. So in a couple of weeks there will be three more trees planted on the side of the yard. I hope they do as well as this one beside the house has done. They come in different colors. Pink, white, purple, but this crimson red color is my favorite.

I saw this odd plant outside my supermarket and finally found out it was a Chinese Lantern. You have to see it.
I have only seen those in photos and they look incredible. The little flowers look like lanterns.
Yes! That is why I was standing there, asking, and had to find the owner of the supermarket who was the only one who knew what it was for she had it planted. It really has a look to it…you have to see it in real life to totally be entranced.
