A Trio of Bluebird Eggs

Playing around with one of my photos on this cold dreary day. Saw two bluebirds in the front yard yesterday. That was a sign of hope for sure. I hope they return in a few weeks when I put their house up in the garden.

It is always such an exciting time to open the bluebird house and see tiny blue eggs. I have my fingers crossed they will be able to build this year without the other birds chasing them away.

The bluebirds bring me such joy. My Bluebirds of Happiness for sure. I always feel Dustin around when I have those happiness moments. He plays a part I believe.

  1. Nice image Carol. I have made a nesting box out of a detergent powder carton with some straws thrown in to serve as cushion. This has been placed in our balcony for over over two weeks. The hole is kept small so that only a sunbird or a tailor bird can enter. No luck so far.

Should we also place water or some feed in the vicinity to attract birds?
