A Tinge of Purple ~ Day 225

I now have blooms on all three Rose of Sharon bushes in my front yard. Always look forward to the blooms. They start out with a slight tinge of purple. The edges are usually lined with purple The bees have started their pollen gathering. The butterflies will join them soon. So much to enjoy in nature this time of the year. These are also perennials, they get cut back at the end of the summer and come back bigger each year. My favorite kind of bushes. Kind of like being recycled each year. Enjoy your day everyone. Lots of rain here again today.

  1. There used to be two pepper plants in my backyard but the landlady dug one up and now they don’t cross pollinate so the remaining one is pretty much useless…

  2. I love the slight tint of colours on white flowers …
they’re not as attractive as the brightly coloured ones but unique on their own!!
