A Thunder Storm Is Raging Outside

With the onset of summer we have these severe thunder storms raging . It has been extremely hot and humid over the last few days and that is an indicator for a thunder storm.

Last evening we had heavy winds at high speeds and that means damaging of some of the plants in my garden. Thankfully there wasn’t and serious damage. Just a huge container in which I have planted a papaya tree was pushed to the ground.

I hope that there won’t be anymore damage today. I don’t want my plumerias being broken and my sapadillas ( Manilkara zapota)  being knocked to the ground. These fruits are still to young to be picked.

This was a picture I had taken a few years ago. I am always fascinated by thunder and lightening, and I love to take pictures of thunder storms. However, my husband has very strongly banned me from doing anything of that sort.

Right now my dogs seem to be afraid of all the rumblings and lightening outside. They had decided to stay close to me.

  1. Even in our country storms every day … I do not know what it is with this time … I was probably frozen by all the fruit trees … apple trees and cherries…..I do not have fear of storms … except what kind of damage they will do
