A Purple Dusk – Thursday Reflections Challenge

The colors of the evening skies are awesome.  From a warm orange tone , to a bright fiery red, the sky lightens to grey and later purple skies. The hues are dramatic and almost mystical in the way the scenes change rapidly.

I have used a picture of the same building reflected in the lake  earlier in one of my posts, but the image was of a much later  part of the day. However, this image I  had some how overlooked caught my eye and imagination today as I looked through the refection pictures again in my digital archives.

The dreamlike quality of this purple dusk seem so haunting to me.   Almost like a scene from a scary movie or a murder mystery. I don’t know if you like it but I have fallen in love with this picture.
