A parable of pride and majesty

Young Chinese, a student of philosophy, presented the great Chinese philosopher Confucius of the Sunni Minister. When Confucius walked away, the young man visited the great lady to understand his opinion of the famous guest.

“After seeing Confucius,” the minister said, “you seem to me very small, like a louse or a flea. Today I will present it to the master.

And then the young disciple, fearing that the master would exaggerate too much Confucius, told the minister:

“When the master meets Confucius, you will be like a louse or a flea!”

And the minister gave up his intention.
