We had lots of talk about the historical importance of Lahore. I tried to introduce you with the historical buildings (like fort, mosques, libraries etc), beautiful parks and spacious roads of the city in my previous posts. But Lahore is also famous for its food. Famous “Food Street” in the city is one of the most known place in the region.
The picture i shared with you is one of the most famous desi food outlet in the city. In fact it is a breakfast outlet known as “Phaja Siri Paye”. There are so many famous desi breakfast places in Lahore but “Phaja Siri Paye” is one of the well known desi break fast place where every Lahori must get at least once in life.

Why is it called “desi breakfast”? What does the word “desi” mean?
It is a most famous breakfast of Lahore.
That is fascinating, I’ve never seen anything like this before! I think I would like to try this breakfast.
