My niece in law never believed in eating together. Her logic was why should one do that when each one feels hungry at different times. Seems logical but why is it then that scores of families believe in it and sit together atleast for one meal?
That is a place where I think everyone shares their day’s experience, children making their demands, parents pointing out what kids should do and not do – even sharing jokes and telling stories. That is a place where a family gets to bond with each other.
We as kids fought for that place next to our father who adored his kids. He would even share a part of what he ate with the one who sat next to his right. …………….

When my father is still alive, we always have dinner together whenever he is at home.
The dining table is the best place for great bonding of family
Oh, absolutely, we never ate separately, I think one can call it “normal” because we see people of family units eating together I was just curious. ?
Whenever we are at home, we all sit at the table together.
That is a place where bonding happens the most
Most of the time, I eat alone since I wake up really late.
You must be having a family bonding time.
A happy family enjoying a meal together. My children are grown up and have families of their own but they all eat together. Is the photo perhaps of you and your family Grace?
That photo is picked from the Net. But when your kids were with you, surely that would have been the case with you I am sure.
