It is a common goal. Many people are hopeful that they can get more organized and use their time more wisely. It does not just happen. It takes effort. Here are some simple things you can do to become more organized.
1. De-clutter every day.
Make it a daily habit to clear off your desk, night stand, counters, and wash your mirrors every evening. Before you know it you will add a few things to the list. Your house will become very uncluttered.
2. Keep Only What You Need in Sight
If you are not going to use the item today, put it away, and out of sight. You would be amazed how much is just sitting about once you try it for just seven days.
3. Delegate
Control freaks create their own drama. Don’t be a control freak. Delegate.
4. Make a list and stick to it.
When you go to the store, buy only what was on the list, and stay away from the bargain bin.
5. Have a bed time and stick to it.
