Its funny but I still love looking out at the snow falling. Looking out being the operative word. Although, we did take the dogs on an end of day walk and it was beyond sloppy. The early November snowfall is rare in the DC area. As in its been 30 years since this last happened. Funny but since we moved to Maryland there have been a lot of those last time this happened was more than 30 years ago events. (Earthquake, 30+ inch snowfall, and the wettest summer on record).

We haven’t had a real snow yet…a little might have fallen but didn’t stick long enough to count. But it has been cold!!
Ours ended up being about 2 inches – not huge but one of the biggest early November snows in the last 40 years in DC!
I don’t love the rain snow slush. It freezes my feet.
Yeah, we got that Thursday evening when we walked. The dogs love it, they were playing the entire walk. The twins and I had frozen feet. Luckily, a fire quickly dried everything!
No snow here yet but we had freezing rain earlier in the week a couple of days. I stayed inside.
we were grazed by the Noreaster that seems to have hit the rest of the east coast a lot harder.
Hmmm… About snow, I can only see it from pictures, videos or movies.
Weather changes do occur, right?
Yes they do, snow being one of the changes.
I’m just a little tired of reading differences of opinion about whether or not the weather changes due to global warming.
My new rule is to say the following. “If you are certain there is no such thing as global climate change, I understand that. Please move as close to the water as you can. I will come to visit you by boat in twenty years, we can look at where your house used to be. “
What a cool way to respond.
Sometimes they say that global climate change does exist but not because of humans but because of cycles.
There are several people that have posted the cycle argument on Virily. One of them actually cited the Antarctic study (the 1000 year weather study). He was correct in pointing out that in fact, the world has changed 10-degree climate changes before. What everyone always forgets to note, is it is a 10-degree warming in less than 50 years. That has never happened before.

Burr, that looks cold. It’s pretty though. You can keep it. lol I was complaining about it getting down into the 50’s! I had to answer yes to does it ever snow where you live, it has, twice in 40 years. 😉 Although a half an hour away gets a deep snow fall. All mixed up in Sunny Socal!
That is truly the reality of weather is it not. Just wait, it will change!
