The 2020 Super Cup Final will be played later on today between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Unfortunately for fans in Spain, the Supercopa final will be played at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The final was moved from Spain to Saudi Arabia because the government of Saudi Arabia paid to have the Super Cup in Saudi Arabia.
Over the past couple of years, Saudi Arabia is holding more sports events to make their country seem like they are moving towards being less restrictive towards their people. Women were just allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia in 2017! The country just abolished slavery 20 years ago.
