10 Tablespoon Dinner

Once a week we have the 10 tablespoon dinner. On each plate there are 10 tablespoons of different things. It began when one person in the family  was being overly picky.

We already have the “No thank you  bite rule” in play. You are required to taste everything and then you can say no thank you to more.”

We a family member suggested the 10 tablespoon meal once a week we agreed we would try it for a month. It is a great way to introduce new foods and still have a bite of some favorites. What’s on the plate tonight?

  • 1 tablespoon of coleslaw
  • 1 tablespoon of Spanish rice
  • 1 tablespoon of steak
  • 1 tablespoon of sauteed peppers (I put them on my piece of steak)
