Achilles Point is the end of the road, it goes up a hill and there is this view from the cliff there is a viewing platform so that you can get the views of Waitamata Harbour. Quite a few tourists come to this lookout. Achilles Point is named in memory of some soldiers who died in a war, I believe the boat was called. “Achilles”
