I am 5’5″ tall and the camera is up to my eyes. Looking up to the sky! This large one was around 12′-15′ tall. It was huge.
This variety of Agave is one in a group of Agave called the Agave Americiana. It has several variegated versions that are common in cultivation.
This is the Marginata version with yellow striping down the sides of the leaves. The imprint of the previous leaf is imprinted on young leaves like you see here.
