When the water isn’t flowing so strong, people use this area as a slide rock. I wouldn’t try that now.

Is the water so cold?
Just over freezing. Id say around 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
I would take a pass on sliding too.
Yeah, those days are over for me. I never really liked cold water. Put me in the gulf of Mexico and I might not come out. But here? Pass as well. Smart woman.
