I ran a trout fishing resort on the White River in Cotter, Arkansas for 22 years. This is one of the cabins with the river showing behind it.
That’s my five.

I would love to own a cabin in the woods near cool running water. You’ve had quite the adventurous life. Excellent!
That is my dream now. To have a nice cabin in the woods next to a spring! Without the resort of course.
i think we probably drove by this place. We used to be in and around Hot Spring Arkansas for many years when my in-laws were there.
They renamed it, HISPLACE. I think they should of went with The Place. And you might of, if you went to BRanson from Hot Springs. The resort is on the White River, which comes from Bull Shoals Lake and is located right on the AR MO border.
my father in law loved Branson. We went twice!
So yes, you passed it twice. 😉 Perty country up that a way. Done in my best Arkansas accent.
You might remember going over Cotter Bridge, depends on how long ago it was. There is a new bypass now.
i do remember the bridge, and great accent!
You must have some memories about that place!
Loads Norman. I raised the boys there. 😉
I never knew that, how interesting of a job that would be.
At age 15, we came back to this river that we had found on our year long adventure, and they bought it. They ran it for 10 and started handing me the reigns. I had to learn everything from tearing down a fishing boat motor, running a chainsaw to the books. Never a dull moment.
