The young Black Backed Seagull is like this colour for the 1st 2 years of it’s life and when it is an adult it is black and white with yellow beak and yellow feet. It’s larger than our smaller seagull.
It’s a great flier and can hover. It’s wings are strong and the birds are confident. It not only takes off from land but from water as well.
