This might surprise some people but any use of ‘irregardless’ is incorrect. Irregardless isn’t a word. It is a non-word mashing of irrespective and regardless.

Carol, it is one of those that so many people use it, though it isn’t a word, that it is scary.
This one is good to know.
This is a good one for the list, I hear it used so much!
I do too, including on the news and in everyday conversation.
That is a good thought what irregardless means.
I suspect that people use this one because they heard someone else using it and thought it sounded neat.
