“Em” the sister painting to “Christine”. When Em saw the painting I created of her older sister Christine, she reached out to me and was just so sweet with how she described how much the artwork moved her. She then bought the painting of “Christine” as a surprise graduation gift for her sister. Time passed, and Christine reached out to commission me to paint her sister Em as a surprise gift for her graduation too! She asked for it to be in a similar style, but include pink morning glories, which are her sister’s favorite flowers. I was so touched with this idea of these two loving sister paintings looking towards each other, showing their similarities and simultaneously their own unique personalities. It was such an amazing opportunity to create this sweet diptych, the story of sisterly love. @christine_h310
