Some packet coffee recommends putting the packet in the fridge, but with instant coffee it is a definite no-no. Coffee absorbs aromas and flavours from all the other foods in the fridge, which in turn kills its own aroma and flavour. Even packet coffee, once opened, gains no benefits from refrigeration.
