House Sparrows (7/16)

List item

Sparrows were introduced to New Zealand to eat crop eating pests of agriculture. The male will build a nest where he will entice a female where they will lay 5-6 eggs.

Both birds will incubate the eggs. The female lays more eggs before the chicks leave the nest, so there is a lot of Sparrows around.
