But you can sure sense when that water is going the wrong dang direction from what you think it should. It just feels wrong.

Are there many crossings of great divides?
In the US just the one in the Rockies. Everything on the east flows to the Caribbean (Atlantic) or the Atlantic directly. The west side flows to the Pacific!
It’s funny because I cross three times going home and watch the water flow the wrong way.
it is a theoretical line! not a real line.
