While walking along the Erie Canal Pathway in Brockport, New York I saw some huge metal rings in the walls and they were painted mustard yellow. They were there for securing the ropes of the official N.Y. state tugboat and barges which stop here frequently. Yellow and blue are the official colors of ships of N.Y. state on the Erie Canal. Oh, there is a Erie Canalboat across on the other side of the canal.
