While the Tower of London is reputedly the most haunted of London’s tourist sights, I felt much more uncomfortable in Westminster Abbey. Despite its beauty, both inside and out, I felt anxious and claustrophobic while inside. The Lady Chapel, in particular, is gorgeous, but I was so happy to get outside into the fresh air at the end of our tour. Have you ever felt uncomfortable while visiting a historic site?
