All these cars are good but the first one is especially good. Old cars have a lot of appeal. They are great to drive. Nowadays, cars are too much and you are afraid of breaking something. Older cars were great.

we loved that old wagon. older cars have a great appeal. Of course, newer cars now have much better safety and protection systems!
-
My first car was a very old car made in 1989. It was a Renault 19. But I loved it, it was so great to drive and I was not afraid if something got damaged or things like that. It was great as it was old.
-
for young drivers, older cars are very good, for the very reason you list!
perhaps my friend a new book – compleanos (sp) de cache?

Yes, you got it right: “El cumpleaños del coche” “The birthday of the car”. Yes, why not??? I could write a story called “The birthday of the car”. (I have done an interview to promote the book. I will write a post in Virily about it soon). I have only had two cars in my entire life. You have had a lot.. you can write a saga…

i was happy with a blog post. My books are technical. I haven’t written a fiction book in a few years.

It was great to discover your cars. They are great. Cars are always so magical. Do you remember when I wrote about “On the road” and we talked about it?? This novel elevates the meaning of a car. I have read about Highway 66 on the USA. It must be great

i remember our discussion of on the road. It was a great conversation. Kerouac presented a view of the US.
i suspect many were influenced by that.
-
Yes, I think it is romantic. As USA is so big you can have a lot of adventures travelling the states. Hollywood has done a great job for Americans in the sense we all watch movies set in USA and foreigners like me who do not live in the USA have a romantic vision of your country. But you must be careful choosing a president as everything your president does appear in European countries.

a friend of mine always says whatever will be will be.
i know, it was a song originally.
i have yet to see the world leader that at one point or another I didn’t think why did they elect him or her?

I like the kind of architecture I saw in the videos. I have never had the desire to visit Asian countries.

You sure have felt the joy of driving almost all cars and can provide a wide review of the cars you’ve owned. That is a wonderful memory, something worth looking back at.
-
i’ve owned my own car since I was 17 years old. It is both a sense of pride and regrets over all the money spent on gasoline that I say that.
-
It’s enjoyable but expensive to maintain a car when it comes to gasoline. Reminds me of my high school principal who occassionally drove his car to school. He used to board public vehicles.

it has quite a bit, but it is 2.50 or so per gallon now! a lot more than when I was first driving!
