Also don’t swim in the river of my hometown because it’s not too clean + there are places where it behaves unpredictably and the risk of drowning is really high. So the pool is a good substitute. Wish you and your family wonderful swimming in the pool!!!

Thank you! Sadly the little ones in the pictures are now big, and they don’t go to the pool any longer. Time passes!

During our childhood, we bathed in the river. ? We set up a pool in the garden for grandchildren. Every summer they enjoy.

We used to, when I was a teenager, go swim in the quarries. They used to quarry Limestone in Indiana, and the quarries filled with water over time.

We used to swim in creeks growing up. There is no telling what was in those creeks but we survived. Great photos.

When I was small, we were swimming in rivers that were much cleaner than today … to the pool I had 500 m so there was never a problem … 40 years ago I was on a motorbike in 30 minutes at sea

I have to admit that our lakes are still in good condition … some of them are well-equipped bathing places .. also some river would also be found … the river in which I bathe when the child is no longer swimming

US rivers are better than they were, but still need to improve.
Nice to hear you guys still have lakes that are nice!
