This park actually has an original (sometimes virgin) forest. There is a section near the middle of the park that has trees that have never been cut down. I loved going there. As if before humans.

That is one of the things I miss about living in the suburbs of Riga, Latvia there were always forests to wander in.
-
Maryland created what they call the Greenway Law. You have to have actual forests between subdivisions. It breaks things up!

The park must be wonderful, I love walking in the park. Unfortunately, I have never been camping before. I’m sorry I did not try this.

camping is something for sure.
You would love the state parks in the US. Many walking trails with lots of fun things to photograph!!!

It’s a really wonderful park … as a young boy I traveled a lot of time and I love camping … I also go to camp at the seaside … it’s so beautiful in nature … now that I’m older I’m no longer loves to set up a tent … and sleeping on the pillow is no longer for my bones
-
I don’t go camping anymore either! back hurts too much on the ground. But I still love being out in nature!

My back is no longer for pillows …. I also spend a lot of time in nature … I’m in the village and I have to the forest and the mountain river 200m
