We were on the plane for about an hour give or take. It was an exciting opportunity. There was a charity auction, and no one bid on the airplane ride. So we decided that would be a lot of fun to do. It was without a doubt the most fun that day.
I love the images of the land below. I’ve spent a lot of time in airplanes over the years. There was a time when I flew out, or drove out Monday morning and didn’t return until Thursday night or Friday mid-day. That was the case for more than 12 years.
Driving was easier because I could take my stuff and be more comfortable when I got there. Flying was the only option for longer trips. Flying with my family is a lot more fun. When you fly for business, you jockey for position to be the first to get to the overhead bins. When you are flying with family, you are already home, so the trip is a lot easier!
