After climbing the spiral staircase to the top of the Tybee Island Lighthouse near Savannah, Georgia, you are rewarded with the panoramic view. You can walk around the outside with just a slim black iron handrail between you and the view. In the distance you can see the Atlantic Ocean and the Savannah River.
