View From the John C. Flanagan House

Directly out the back porch of the John C. Flanagan House and Museum in Peoria, Illinois there is a great view of the Illinois River Valley. Here on the intricate floral cast iron framed porch Judge John C. Flanagan sat and took in the view of the river with perhaps even Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln had visited Peoria in 1854 for a political debate and stayed at this, the oldest house in town.
