Naturally formed waterfalls from the center of Antalya are about 12-14 km north-east. This is one of the most visited attractions in this Turkish resort. Organized or self-guided tours can see two groups of crocodiles – Upper and Lower, formed by the Duden River flowing in the South Anatolia region.
The Upper waterfalls in Duden are in a beautifully arranged and well-maintained park that resembles a real botanical garden. A large green area, water sounds, flying parrots create a unique atmosphere. The people of Antalya, who are visiting this place, arrive with families to spend their day in a fresh air. They not only enjoy the peace and relax, but also organize picnics.
Lower Duden Falls is about 8 km away, near Lara Beach in Antalya. The water from the height of 40 meters falls directly to the Mediterranean Sea. Beautiful views overlook at the waterfalls by boat trips. These excursions are available from the Antalya Yacht Harbor.
