Travel Guide for Lindos Acropolis, Rhodes, Greece

The Acropolis in Lindos is considered the second most significant in Greece after the Athenian. It was reconstructed in the second half of the 20th century, which can be read on information stands located on the territory of the museum. Here you can see the remains of buildings of different eras: the ruins of the temple of Athena Lindia (IV in BC), the ruins of the Roman temple, the walls of the Byzantine temple St John, the fortress walls erected by the ion-knights.

On the wall, you can see the herb of Grand Master Pierre d’Aubusson. From the fortress, there is a beautiful panorama of the sea, bays and snow-white miracle – the city of Lindos, located at the foot of the cliff. The light breeze and the bright sun finish this glorious picture.

Everyone who comes here falls in love with this place, there is everything for everyone, a tavern, a beach, a history, be sure to stroll at night, the beauty is indescribable. The entrance fee is 12 Euros.
