Trail to the Wilderness at Paul Smith's College

While at Paul Smith’s College in the Adirondacks at the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) meet, you have to go explore around the great campus. After walking past the sawmill for the students, you go tby the Outdoor Woodsman-Woodswoman Competition area and down a long trail. Then you come to the very old iron bridge across a creek full of beaver hutches and down a long lane. This is very near where the old Paul Smith’s Railroad ran in the late 1880s. Now it leads to the high ropes competition area for the Forestry department for students.
