The scenery, the locals and the exotic local food that is a combination of the English and Portuguese cuisine can be a lifetime experience for the whole family or for lonely adventurers.

2. Cartagena, Colombia.

While still in Caribbean, let me introduce “the undisputed queen of the Caribbean coast”.  This port located on the northern coast of Colombia is a less advertised tourist destinations, which makes it more fun to explore it. Also known as Cartagena de Indias, this is a picturesque and romantic centuries- old city worth to visit.

There are plenty things to do in Santorini: check out and photograph the famous sunsets in Oia, take  donkey ride in the narrow streets of Fira, visit the ruins of the ancient city Akrotiri, or just enjoy the magnificent view from one of the Greek style tavern. The island has amazing hotels and accommodation units that are not really budget friendly, but are worth the splurge.

5. Amalfi Coast, Italy

Charming Italy is always a good idea. Drinking good Italian prosecco or  limoncello liqueur  by the sea will be reason enough to pack your suitcase and head to Amalfi.

The Amalfi Coast is a 50-kilometer stretch of coastline along the southern part of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula, in Campania.
